Looking for: Casual Babysitting

My name is Dakota, I am 24 years old, and my pronouns are she/her. I have completed a Bachelors of Psychological Science and am looking to study a Masters in Primary Teaching in the future. I have always had a passion for supporting others no matter their ability. I have recently moved to Brisbane from Melbourne, where I was working in Child Protection for the Victorian Government. In this role I supported children to reach their full potential and, provided them with intensive support to reduce any further risks of harm. In this role I worked with many children who had ADHD, Autism and other complex high needs. I have also worked as a nanny/housekeeper for a family in Melbourne for 4 years (caring for their gorgeous girl since she was 6 months old). This has mainly consisted of play time, feeding, going for walks, nap time, learning time and performing general household tasks (cooking dinners, laundry, cleaning). I am confident in working with children of all ages, and can assure you that your children will be safe in my care. I consider myself to be very confident, and a very good communicator. I am always happy to take on whatever is thrown at me and give it my best go, as I am flexible and adaptable. In my spare time, you will generally find me taking my dog (Spider) for a walk, out for a run/in the gym, playing football, or making my way to the beach for a swim !! I would absolutely love for the chance to be able to support whoever is in need, by using my enthusiasm and energy to ensure they get what they need and deserve. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it be having a picnic or being active, I believe with the uprise in technology, all children need to be encouraged to engage in consistent outdoor activities! I look forward to meeting with you and your family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am currently living at College in St Lucia enrolled in a double degree of a bachelor of Business and a bachelor of Fashion Design at QUT. I am originally from Sydney and have been doing babysitting there for the past 2 years, quite regularly. During this job, I would make the kids (aged 4, 7, and 9) breakfast, pack their bags and walk them to school every monday, tuesday and wednesday, and occasionally take them home from school and make them dinner when needed. I have also had causal babysitting jobs whenever my neighbours were going out to dinner or had an event on at night, which was very ideal and easy for me to do. I would love to have the same or similar type of job whilst living in Brisbane, and my schedule is white flexible during the weekdays as well :)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, My name is Vanessa and I have been doing nanny, house manager and babysitting work for over 30 years. I have been a career Nanny for about 15 years and I am looking for a permanent nanny role. I need to redo my first aid/CPR/anaphylaxis certificate, but I do have have my blue card, criminal history check, traffic history report and reference contacts from my previous families. I am looking for a nanny role preferably on a long-term permanent part-time/full time basis (2-3 long days per week 30+ hours or permanent 4-5 days (40+ hours). I have done very long days previously (8-12+ hours per day), overnights and weekly work and can offer other hours to work around your schedule. I am looking for full days and no split shifts. I’d also be happy to do some casual work for the short term. I have experience caring for children of all ages and I am very reliable and create a fun and happy environment for all the family. I have lived in Brisbane all of my life and I have worked in a lot of different suburbs in and around Brisbane. I always use common sense around the house and clean up after myself and the children. I am willing to do light housekeeping (dishwasher, wipe down kitchen benches, children's washing and cooking etc) if time permits throughout the day (no heavy cleaning) but your children always come first. I am very flexible and can do long days, overnight stays and can usually do last minute emergency work if you need me to. I have always worked for professional families (Self Employed, Medical, Lawyers, Accountants etc) and I understand that a lot of flexibility and reliability is needed when being a nanny. Please note that I am happy to have a meet and greet interview with families. If a work 'trial' is required, my time is to be paid in cash (minimum 3 hours) on the day at the hourly rate. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. I am a very young at heart, fun, bubbly and caring person and love doing old fashioned care with children (reading, nursery rhymes, arts and crafts, outings, cooking and much more). I honestly put my heart and sole into all of my nanny work and can offer you long term stability. Ideally I would love a long term sole charge 1 child role, but I am open to other options. Thank you for reading my profile. Please contact me if you want further information.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a motivated and reliable individual with a strong passion for working with children and supporting their development in safe, engaging environments. Through my previous experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills. During my time volunteering as a water polo coach at St Andrews Anglican College (my high school), I worked weekly with primary school students, helping them build confidence and develop new skills. This role strengthened my patience, leadership and ability to support children as they learn and grow. I further developed these skills while working in the United Kingdom as an Activity Assistant and Camp Leader with PGL Travel for 7 months. In this role, I supervised and supported children aged 6–18 during outdoor education activities such as rock climbing and team games. I was responsible for ensuring their safety, guiding them through activities, organising free-time games and helping create a positive and supportive group environment. I spent every day caring for them. This experience confirmed my passion for working with children and taught me the importance of adaptability, responsibility and positive role modelling. I currently hold a valid Queensland Blue Card and bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s wellbeing and development.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear Families, I'm the nanny for you if you are seeking help from a reliable, fun and dedicated nanny/ helper/ additional family member. Currently based in Brisbane, I’ve been working as a teacher and am looking to transition to a slower, more grounded lifestyle as I prepare to welcome a baby due late November, early December. I’m a qualified teacher, yoga and meditation teacher, and have previous experience as both a nanny and au pair. I’m very comfortable supporting children of different ages and contributing to a calm, structured, and nurturing home environment. I was also home-schooled in my early years, which has shaped my approach to learning. I value curiosity, creativity, and emotional safety. I enjoy a mix of childcare and practical household support, including cooking (I enjoy cooking and baking), organising, and helping maintain a well-functioning home. I’m proactive, reliable, and naturally take initiative. With my family based in Canada, I’m especially drawn to homes with a genuine, respectful family feel. Ideally looking for longer-term relationships that will work with some casual teaching alongside. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, podcasts, stand-up comedy, and being active — paddle boarding, cycling, hiking, and camping. I’m looking for a role that feels balanced — where I can contribute meaningfully to family life, while building a calm, connected environment for both the children and myself. I love to play alongside with the children I care for; I like to get involved in their games to help expand on their creative ideas and extend their play. I also think it is important to involve children in day to day activities. I try to use each experience as an opportunity for the children learn about, and further understand the world around them. I apply what I have learned about child development and human behaviour to my job as a nanny. I love being involved in kids' lives and watching them learn and grow. I'm happy to discuss various arrangements. Please contact me by phone or email if you would like to discuss how we might be able to work together and create the ideal circumstance for everyone. Current CV and references available.
