Hi I'm Katrina Ive been a nanny/mother's help/ domestic assistant for past 18 years. Have current WWCC, First aid and CPR in a child care setting. Own reliable fully insured vehicle I love having fun with children, meeting there needs. As a mother of 6 young adults blessed to be stay at home mum I’m committed to natural rhythms and unplugging our children from tech and surrounding them with nature, art and gentle music to slowly open their minds. Gardening is one of my passions as is the beach’s bush walks and bike rides!

I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, Poilce Check, an up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, SIDS and Safe Sleep training. I also have extensive experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and children who may not have an official diagnosis but may experience some difficulties with behaviour or expressing their emotions. I am a registered Circle of Security Facilitator - in both parent and classroom approaches. I prioritise kindness, building secure, reciprocal relationships and developing trust and connection. I am extremely patient, calm, compassionate and respectful - both personally and professionally. I am also flexible and respectful of each parents/families parenting approach. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep. I live in Cessnock but am more than happy to travel. I dont have children of my own but I am fortunate enough to be an aunty to my young neices and nephews.
