Hi! I’m a warm, bubbly, and caring person with a genuine love for working with children. I have experience coordinating before and after school care, babysitting for many years, and being a hands-on stepmum to three children aged 3, 1, and 1. I’m patient, compassionate, and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and included. I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, Poilce Check, an up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, SIDS and Safe Sleep training. I also have extensive experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and children who may not have an official diagnosis but may experience some difficulties with behaviour or expressing their emotions. I am a registered Circle of Security Facilitator - in both parent and classroom approaches. I prioritise kindness, building secure, reciprocal relationships and developing trust and connection. I am extremely patient, calm, compassionate and respectful - both personally and professionally. I am also flexible and respectful of each parents/families parenting approach. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep. I live in Cessnock but am more than happy to travel. I dont have children of my own but I am fortunate enough to be an aunty to my young neices and nephews.
