Hi my name is Charm, I'm 18 years old and I live in Bondi Junction. I have at least 5 years of babysitting experience with children aged from 1-11 but would be very keen to develop experience with babies. I have also taken part in lots of childcare activities such as volunteering in primary schools during high school as well as currently being an assistant ballet teacher to kindergarten students at The Dance Co. Sydney which I love. I am currently a first year nursing student at USYD and am passionate in working in a hospital setting after my degree so I will develop lots of beneficial skills. I am also experienced to help out in the kitchen with any cooking or food preparation. Although I do not drive I am very accessible to public transport and won't be reliant. My availability is subject to change but I can confirm that I will be available at some point every day, with Saturday's being completely available and full availability from the 6th of June.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a dedicated and experienced nanny with over four years of hands-on experience supporting young children through the most important stages of their early development. My approach is deeply child-focused, grounded in a strong understanding of child development and a genuine passion for nurturing each child’s individual growth, wellbeing, and potential. I began my nannying career in Ireland caring for two boys aged just 3 months and 18 months. Supporting them from infancy through early childhood gave me invaluable insight into key developmental milestones, including attachment formation, language development, emotional regulation, and early social skills. I provided consistent, responsive care tailored to their evolving needs, creating a secure and nurturing environment where they felt safe to explore, learn, and develop confidence. As a qualified social worker, I bring a comprehensive understanding of child development theories and evidence-based practice to my work. This enables me to take a thoughtful and intentional approach to caregiving—supporting not only children’s physical needs, but also their emotional, social, and cognitive development. I am particularly attuned to the importance of secure attachments, positive reinforcement, and play-based learning in fostering resilience, independence, and self-esteem. I design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support developmental progression, from sensory play and early communication for infants to imaginative play, problem-solving, and social interaction for older children. My experience as a children’s soccer coach (ages 18 months to 5 years) and drama teacher (ages 7–12) has further strengthened my ability to support physical development, creativity, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and structured way. I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, understood, and supported as individuals. I take a person-centred approach, recognising that every child develops at their own pace and tailoring my care to meet their unique needs, interests, and personality. My goal is always to provide high-quality, developmentally informed care that supports children to thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively, while building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I've been looking after kids since I was 14, starting out babysitting for families in my neighbourhood, and it's something I've genuinely always loved. Over the years, that's grown into more formal experience, including two part-time nanny roles and some time working at a childcare centre during school holidays (8 months all up). With my first nanny family, I started when their daughter was just 5 months old and was with her until she turned two, so I got to be part of a lot of firsts! My second role was with a baby from 6 to 10 months, a gorgeous (and busy!) stage of development. The childcare centre work was a different experience again and taught me a lot about working with multiple kids and ages in a more structured environment. I'm First Aid certified and pretty adaptable in how I care for kids; some days call for messy play and running around outside, others are more about quiet time and cuddles. I just follow the child's lead and keep the parents in the loop so everyone's on the same page. I'm currently based in Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa. I've relocated here to be with my partner and am in the process of transitioning to a Partner Visa, so I'm looking to put down roots and find a family I can really settle in with and be a consistent, reliable presence for your kids.

I love working with children. I believe they love being with me too, so I am making educating and nurturing children my career. I am studying a Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary Teaching (full-time), at ACU. I grew up and live in Bronte. I have long daycare experience, with 0-5 year olds. I have done plenty of babysitting, usually with 2-3 children at a time. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I love animals, and quite frankly, I'm a bit of a dog whisperer. I'm musical and play the bass guitar, saxophone and voice. I was a Bronte Nipper for many years. I love playing games, making up creative activities and taking children on excursions and adventures. I'm happy to help with music practice, homework, cooking and light housework. I'm hard working, honest, reliable, fun and find genuine joy working with children. References upon request.
