I'm here in Sydney until 2027 as I complete my doctorate and I'm looking for some part time work as a nanny/babysitter. In the UK I worked on research studies with infants and young children, ages 10 months - 2 years. I have 2 years of this experience, which involved a lot of time interacting with the child, mostly doing some age appropriate tasks with them, as well as some play. My PhD is in developmental psychology and my focus is in the first two years of life, therefore I have advanced knowledge around child development. I also have experience working with older children in research and educational contexts (as a tutor and research assistant). I am trained in pediatric first-aid, and have recently completed my DBS check in the UK (meaning I am allowed to work with children). I am a gentle and caring person, but I can also have a lot of fun!

I lived on campus where I was rostered with five other Gappys to work between the boarding house as a house mother, in the school classrooms as a teachers assistant, and on the playing fields as coach. The children at the school were aged between 5 and 13. It was a nurturing and rewarding environment for both students and staff.
