I am currently studying Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Southern Cross University in Lismore. I love caring for children; I love spending time with them, reading to them, doing arts and crafts with them, and letting their imaginations run wild with coming up with games for us to play together. I am a rather shy individual, and can be pretty quiet in social situations. I am an organised person, and am not afraid to clean up spills or messes (which I know children make many of!). I am a very passionate person, and am not easily angered or annoyed (okay, sometimes annoyed - I am human!), however I am rarely affected by drama or stress, and always cater to and try to help and relieve other's anxieties.

I am a friendly, experienced and nurturing babysitter/nanny. I have a Working With Children Check and I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education. I have experience with children aged 1-12 years old through babysitting and working as a primary school teacher. I have also worked as a before and after school carer and a Mathematics and English tutor while I was studying to be a teacher. I am first aid trained. I work throughout the Byron Shire. I'm Aaron, a German and English speaking Australian resident. I have experience teaching children and babysitting, as well as experience in coaching kids in sports. I have a driver's licence and can cook and clean.

I have worked as a Nanny both here and overseas in the UK for a duration of 10 years. I seem to have a natural rapport with babies and young children, probably because I adore them. I did this up until I had my own family. The ages of the children range from birth to 12 years. Part of those experiences; I had the privilege of supporting a Mum with her twin girls from birth to 6 months. I am the mother of 2 children, Adam now 25 and Lucy 22. I currently work for a family in Billynudgel with 2 girls- 1 & 3. I've had an amazing year with them. We enjoy art, singing dancing, exploring outdoors and making up games together. 2023 saw me with a family in Pottsville with a darling 2 year old and a witty 8 year old. I worked with them 2 days per week and now work casually for them. Previously I have worked for the Education Dept for 4 years as a classroom assistant. This was amazing experience working with these young minds with quirky personalities, encouraging them to learn and grow. Finding the balance of guiding them and prompting their own ideas and problem solving. I still enjoy the simple but important things about mothering and running a household; like simply being there, listening, validating a child's experience, playing, being creative, encouraging their creative skills and minds, right through to efficiently running a home, providing wholesome meals, including children in the cooking experience and the importance of feeding themselves well.
