Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a single mum of 3 girls (twins in first year Uni and another in Year 10). I was a nanny at University for one family for 4 years and babysitted children until I started working. I have looked after special needs children. One of my daughter is analphylaxtic (peanuts) so I am trained in epi-pen. Two daughters are chronic asthmatic so familiar with treatment. I advocate for education of our children and big believer in the power of reading - having read to my children since birth. I believe in the allowing kids to experience the world and creativity. The best fun comes when kids have time to imagine. I am a smart and kind person who has raised three beautiful girls and bring warmth and support to any family

Hi! My name is Laura! I have recently moved to Sydney for university and am keen to find a fulfilling, flexible, and fun job working with kids! I have regular babysitting experience working with kids from ages 7-15, both overnight and after-school pick-up. However, I have grown up in a very large family, so I have spent my life around and taking care of toddlers as well. I have always enjoyed spending time with children, and am excited by the possibility of doing this alongside my studies. I am currently studying a degree in Engineering/Mathematics, so I would be up for maths tutoring for all ages and levels! Thanks for considering me, and I can't wait to hear from you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi everyone! My name is Charlize and I am a current university student at UNSW studying engineering. I moved here from NZ in February and I'm looking to make some extra money here and there whilst doing a job I enjoy. I love working with children, I find it super rewarding and usually quite fun, although it can be tough at times. I have pervious experience babysitting around my neighbourhood in NZ and I also used to volunteer at the children's afterschool care centre at my high school, playing with the children until their parents came to pick them up. Being at university, my timetable is pretty flexible so I can usually try to accomodate for whenever you need babysitting. Since I recently moved, I haven't had the chance to get a WWCC however I'm entirely willing to get one if need be. Thanks! Let me know if you're interested 😊

I have extensive experience working with children, both personally and professionally. Growing up with three younger siblings and any young cousins has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a natural ability to connect with children of different ages. I have also worked in a summer camp with children aged 5–17, as well as in a primary school teaching sports to children aged 5–12. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, leadership, and ability to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for young people.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, my name is Millie, I am a recent English Literature graduate and am hoping to find a family I can support in any way they need! I have over ten years of experience in childcare, have a valid WWCC and am 'HLTAID012 Childcare First Aid and CPR training'. I would describe myself as extremely kind, caring and compassionate whilst also being highly energetic, organised and attentive. I greatly value fun, joy and laughter; I am very passionate about childcare and the children entrusted into my care, with their safety and joy being of utmost importance to me. I would regard myself as gentle with strong leadership skills; I am also highly reliable and trustworthy - my previous role as a domestic cleaner and house sitter relied on trust between the families and myself. One of my more recent roles in childcare was as a children's educator at an 'OFSTED’ rated “Excellent” kindergarten in London for children aged 0-4 years old. I enjoyed working with a variety of ages within the kindergarten setting: working with the babies was a great learning experience in so many ways and I regard myself as highly competent when it comes to looking after babies and toddlers. I had previously volunteered weekly for a creche, worked as a 'Camp Counsellor' for a summer camp in America, and again for two different camps in the UK over a period of several years, amongst many other roles in childcare but working with the babies, toddlers and young children at the kindergarten allowed me to develop in a even more professional capacity. I am now highly competent when it comes to changing a baby, toddler or child safely, managing safe mealtimes for children of all ages, safely putting a baby, toddler or child down to sleep (and constantly monitoring them whilst they slept) and monitoring babies and toddlers whilst they play, allowing them to discover their surroundings independently whilst supporting them and constantly remaining vigilant to their movements, amongst many other areas of baby care. Furthermore, it was always so wonderful to see the children progress in their confidence, and supporting the parents in any way we could was so important to me. Constant communication with the parents enabled me to understand the children in our care, helping us to adapt in any way we could do accommodate the child’s needs whilst making sure they developed socially alongside their peers. I enjoy a range of sports, and consider myself to be a very sporty person; I was described by a previous employer at my most recent job as having ‘a constant abundance of energy and joy’ and at the nursery I worked at, I loved spending time being active in the garden with the children. I am also an extremely vigilant person and always regard the safety of a child/children in my care extremely highly; I previously worked as a lifeguard, and the role enforced for me the importance of being attentive, alert, aware and cautious in the workplace. I have a great passion for reading and encouraging young children to read and enjoy literature. Nourishing creativity in young children and young people is very important to me, and previous volunteering at the local church for an event named ‘Messy Church’ and helping out with ‘Kidschurch’ at the same church weekly, meant I was constantly able to improve on my ability to imagine new ways in which children could explore their own creativity through arts and crafts. I believe that all children deserve gentleness, kindness and a high level of quality care and I believe I can provide this!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I am a responsible, capable and outgoing Year 11 selective school student with a strong academic record and an attendance rate above 95%. I am seeking a casual/routine babysitting position where I can bring my reliability, patience and strong communication skills to support families who need safe and dependable care for their children. I am confident working with younger kids, staying calm under pressure, and creating a positive, friendly environment. I take pride in being punctual, well‑presented and prepared/ I follow instructions carefully, maintain a clean and safe space, and prioritise children’s wellbeing at all times. While I don't have official baby-sitting experience I have a first-aid/CPR certificate. I also have hands‑on experience caring for my younger cousins, whom I look after regularly. When my mum needs me to babysit for her friends, I follow all instructions carefully to ensure the children have a safe, enjoyable time. My schedule is flexible (after school and weekends), and I am committed to adapting to the needs of your family. I learn quickly, take feedback well, and am confident I can meet expectations if given the opportunity. PS: It's very convenient for me to do after-school baby sitting in Paddington or areas around Moore Park as my school is Sydney Girls High School and finishes at 3:20pm. As well as this, Maroubra and Coogee are places I'm confident to travel to and work. PPS: I was actually born in 2010 if that may be a concern for age, but I put 2008 because it didn't allow me to go later than that. PPPS: Because, I am relatively new to this specific type of job only having worked at McDonald's for a year, I put a random price for hourly rate and am happy to negotiate on it to what you believe is fair and suitable.
