Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Ingrid and I have over twenty years experience working with children in Sydney as a casual babysitter and nanny. I work as a librarian at a university and am available weeknights and weekends, as well as other times as required. I have worked with babies aged from two months old up to teenagers, and have also done several live in jobs while parents are away. I enjoy getting out and about when I'm looking after children during the day, especially to the local library for Story Time, and visiting local parks and playgrounds. I am fun, energetic and very enthusiastic about reading books together! I am happy to catch public transport or walk to local activities, and can also drive as required. I have several referees available. My phone number is 0439 855 651 if you would like to discuss further.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Jacqueline. I am a 44 year old non-smoking female and I have lived in Sydney the last 16 years. I moved here to help a family relocate from NZ who I worked with for over 6 years. I have worked as a nanny for the last 23 years and have worked for one family who included 5 children under 10 so big families are no problem! I have been working regularly for many families in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area for the last 16 years. I have experience in looking after children from newborn babies right through to teenagers and also have experience working with twins, diabetic & special needs children. I also have many years experience as a night nanny. I'm willing to help out with light household duties (cooking, child related cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc) I am very flexible with my hours and after 23 years I know how important this is as unexpected things often happen from working late to last minute dinners to being stuck in crazy Sydney traffic! I am happy to stay late when needed as well as some weekend work, I realise its often hard to have set hours in this job and wouldn't expect to walk out the door at the same time every day. I also have my own car and car seats if needed. I have been working full time with an amazing local family for the last 5 years but have gone down from 5 days a week to 2 days this year so I will have 2-3 days per week available. I can provide references from my current family as well as many other families in the Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay and northern beaches areas for nannying, babysitting and overnight/long weekend stays. I have my police and WWCC checks and am currently updating my first aid certificate as it has expired. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to chat.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, my name is Emika and I am a 36 year old female born and bred on the Northern Beaches. I have been a flight attendant with Virgin Australia for the past 14 years. Prior to this, I was a tennis coach for about 3 years casually and then 3 years full time after having competed through my teenage years. I was very likeable by the kids I coached and through that gained numerous babysitting jobs for those kids. I also used to work during the school holidays running tennis camps where the kids were in my care Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Working at Virgin, I am constantly helping parents take care of children and infants who travel with them. I have also gained a few babysitting jobs through work colleagues at Virgin. I was stood down in my position at Virgin from March 2020 to January 2021 due to Covid. During this time, I gained numerous babysitting/nannying and housework help jobs. I am stood back up now but currently on ground duties which is more predictable and stable. I am happy to help casually wherever/whenever I can. I always take pride in what I do and ensure I am able to do things to the best of my ability. It feels so rewarding to help people and do a good job doing it. I love seeing children happy and being able to make them smile/laugh. How I treat children is how I would treat my own that I hope to have some time in the near future. With my experience, I have high expectations of myself and you can expect me to always come to work committed to make positive impacts. I love the outdoors and like to eat healthily so have no trouble passing that on to your children should you require that. I have 2 mini dachshunds so would be fine with animals around. Also happy to help out with around the house chores, dog walking, shopping etc. if neeed be to ease your workload looking after children. I have a full Australian drivers license and WWCC. Every year at Virgin we undertake a first aid and CPR course and every 2 years, we must renew our national security I.D. which means they run a police check on us. If there are any charges or infringements, we would not be able to renew. This has never happened to me in over 14 years. Am also triple vaccinated Looking forward to hearing from you. Ps: please ignore the 1 star. I don’t know how it got there, I’m yet to get a job through here and I contacted the management and they said they can’t remove it as they took over from a previous management. Promise I’m a 5 star!

Hello! I'm Victoria, a 27-year-old lawyer from Argentina with a deep love for taking care of children and elders. I moved to Australia in December and have been working as a Personal Assistant in Palm Beach. Now that I’ve relocated to Mosman, I’ve decided to focus on what truly fulfills me: caring for others. I have extensive experience looking after children, pets, and the elderly. As an older sister (8 years apart), I naturally took on a caring and responsible role from a young age. In my free time, I love staying active through walking, swimming, and exploring nature. I’ve practiced various sports, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, volleyball, hockey, swimming, and CrossFit. Recently, yoga has become my favorite. I approach life with patience, peace, and empathy, but I’m also serious and focused when needed. Reading is one of my passions, especially in the areas of health and medicine, which has given me a solid knowledge base. I’m also an excellent cook and enjoy preparing organic, wholesome meals—some of my favourites include fish, prawns, chicken, and vegetable omelettes. I am bilingual (Spanish - English), hold a driver’s license and for now, I'm available even on weekends.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I live in Mosman, I have my own car with a clean driving record. After graduating from University, I worked in advertising as a media investment manager for 25 years. During that time, I also cared for children of all ages, part-time, some right through from babyhood till early teens. I found this deeply rewarding and decided to do it full time. In December 2024, I finished up with the family I worked with for 5 years as the 2 children reached an age where they need to be more independent & could be managed remotely. Prior this, to the end of 2019, I closely worked with 3 families as a Nanny/Babysitter including After School Care. This sadly ended when 2 of the family's children started high school, whilst the 3rd family 'escaped to the country'. I am reliable, organized, caring and patient. I pride myself in providing a nurturing environment where children feel happy and safe. I enjoy spending quality time with children engaged in creative activities such as drawing, building lego, reading or baking and helping with homework. I enjoy cooking, preparing nutritious meals and am experienced with difficult eaters. I have a deep affection for animals. If this sounds like the kind of person you are looking for, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

I just love kids!! I am a mature, loving, gentle, fun and responsible carer. I have been caring for children for over 25 years and am experienced with all ages. I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years my focus has been on After School Care, supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I think routine is very important, and I believe in encouraging independence in children, which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, which is also a passion, I believe I have a good knowledge of childrens' nutritional requirements, and feel it is very important. I have worked with several children who have food intolerances and allergies. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is for a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC.
