Hi! I’m a 27 year old specialist intensive care nurse for adults who misses working with babies and children. In my final year of study I did 6 months training in paediatric nursing and worked for 2 months at Randwick children’s hospital. I work a rotating roster of 12 hour shifts and would love to find casual babysitting work for my days off and potentially in the evenings after my shifts. I prefer caring for children 5 and under but would be more than happy to care for older children who may need supervision or pick up and drop off to activities.

I’m a warm, caring and reliable early childhood professional with 20+ years’ experience in the early childhood education and care sector, including extensive hands-on experience with babies, newborns and infants (feeding, settling, sleep routines and early development). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working With Children Check, and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and SIDS & Safe Sleep training. I’m also Circle of Security–trained and place a strong focus on building secure, trusting relationships and emotional connection with the children in my care. I have a full driver’s licence, my own car, I’m a non-smoker, and a big animal lover, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m also happy to help out with light housework, washing and meal prep.
