After school care for 3 fun loving kids!

We are a family of five living in Black Rock. We have three wonderful children 7 (boy), 9 (girl) and 11(girl). They are all active, outgoing, and enjoy spending time together. We also have a friendly Labradoroodle.

We are seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter/nanny to provide after-school care for our children two days per week. This role will involve collecting the children from school, walking them home, preparing afternoon tea, assisting with homework, and coordinating after-school activities. Occasional weekend babysitting and full-day care during school holidays will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

School Pick-up:

- Collect children from school (within a 5-minute walking distance) two days per week (Monday & Tuesday)

Afternoon Care:

- Provide a healthy afternoon tea.

- Coordinate and supervise after-school activities, including driving children to and from local sporting events and extra-curricular activities (nothing further than a 5-10 minute drive).

- Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.

Light Housekeeping:

- Put away clean laundry.

Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and living areas.

Meal Preparation:

- Prepare a simple and healthy dinner for the children.

Weekend Availability:

- Available for occasional weekend babysitting as needed.

School Holiday Care:

- Opportunity to provide full-day care during the school holidays at a flat rate of $300 per day when needed.

- Opportunity to do dog sitting on some school holidays

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experience in childcare, preferably with children of similar ages.

- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to create a fun and engaging environment for children.

- Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude.
