We’re seeking a happy and positive nanny to join our busy family in Castlecrag from term 2. We have 3 children (13 yr old boy, 11 yr old girl and 8 yr old boy), but care will be primarily for the youngest two. The older boy is independent but might need dropping off at sport training etc...
We’ll need a nanny in the afternoon, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (~2.45 pm - 6.30 pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, -2.45-5.30 on Fridays and ~2.45 - .8.00 on Thursdays) during school terms. Some of the times are flexible. We are ideally looking for a long-term commitment of 12+ months.
The nanny responsibilities will be:
• Care for the children.
• Pick up 2 children from school.
• Take them to after school activities. The preference is for the nanny to use her own car but a family car can be available if necessary.
• Assist with homework.
• Occasionally cook an evening meal for the children.
The requirements are:
• Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one).
• Have a current working with children’s check number.
• Display strong communication skills and speak English - Bonus if you can also speak Italian.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Able to swim (we have a swimming pool, and you’ll have to supervise the kids there in the summer months)
• Full driver’s license and clean driving record.
