My husband Aaron and I have a two-year-old daughter, Aubrey, and we’re expecting our second baby in June.
The ideal babysitter we’re looking for is someone who can help us during the postpartum period initially, and then provide ongoing casual babysitting for Aubrey and our new baby.
First, regarding the postpartum period:
• Looking for 3 days a week, for approximately 4-8 weeks
• 6-8 hours a day (flexible hours)
• Mainly helping with housework, including cooking, meal prep, tidying up, and laundry during this period
• Helping with Aubrey on her non-day-care days or with the newborn, so I can spend time with Aubrey
For ongoing babysitting care, we’re looking for a casual babysitter for date nights. The ideal candidate would be someone who plans to stay in Melbourne and build a long-term relationship with us.
A little bit about us:
Aaron and I are easygoing parents. We have a lot of fun with Aubrey and are enjoying parenthood even more than we expected.
Aubrey is a social butterfly. She loves singing, dancing, and loves being outdoors. We’ve never had a babysitter before, but Aubrey has been in daycare since she was about 14 months old and goes two to three days a week. She connects with people easily.
