NDIS-funded (Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life) support worker/ carer needed for 4-year-old daughter, who is autistic. Role focuses on safe behaviour awareness, emotional regulation, gross motor skills, parallel play, and self-care independence. Responsibilities include supervision, play-based support, assistance with regulation and self-care, and encouraging independence, all while collaborating with parents (not a respite role). Starting at 3-4 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays to build relationship and trust, with potential to increase over time. Ideal applicants have experience with autistic children, understanding of child development, and align with gentle parenting values. Allied health students (e.g., OT or psychology) are encouraged to apply. ABN required (or ability to invoice).
