Meet Svenja: A nanny and babysitter in Clayton, VIC

Dear Families,

Hello! My name is Svenja, and I am a 23-year-old early childhood education student. Originally from Germany, I have had the pleasure of calling Australia home for the past five years. After a little winter escape to sunny Port Macquarie, I am now back in Melbourne and therefore looking for a wonderful family to nanny for.

My journey in childcare began nine years ago with babysitting and has since evolved to include roles as an Au Pair, Nanny, and most recently, as an Educator. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with children of all ages and with a wide range of needs, from developmental challenges to special interests. Alongside my practical experience, I'm completing my Bachelor's in Education, which has further enriched my understanding of child development and tailored my approach to meet each child's unique needs.

Outside of caring for children, I enjoy running, reading, baking, and spending time outdoors with friends. I would describe myself as active with a calm and nurturing personality. I am available all week, except for Wednesday mornings as I am leading a play group at that time.
