Meet Deborah: A nanny in South Yarra, VIC

Post COVID I changed my professional direction to something I really love, working with children.

Originally, I trained as a nurse. Post nursing I have extensive experience in management, start ups, senior sales and marketing roles demonstrating excellent communication, marketing and customer service skills. I have also developed and managed my own business in healthcare as well as furniture design and manufacturing.

In 2022 l trained at the Royal Children's Hospital to be a Family Healthcare Worker.

l also have completed extensive course work and employment with a high end care provider, Acquaint, (ongoing).

I have been nanny for a professional couple with a beautiful young boy, now 12 months. Some of my responsibilities were preparing bottles, meals, food interactive play, home management & looking after their other furry children, 2 dogs.

l have also been working with a gorgeous your man 10 years old who is neuro diverse for over 2 years.

l do & have loved time spent with the children and their families.

My work landscape has now changed, and l am looking forward to new challenges.

My husband and l have four adult children spread across the planet, I love animals - we have a 15 year old Burmese cat, and one day again, we hope to have a dog. I enjoy walking, meditation, cooking and the arts.
