Meet Heidi: A nanny in Prahran, VIC

Hi! I’m Heidi. I am a current student of Collarts studying marketing. I live in Prahran in a 2 bedroom house but I am familiar with many areas of Melbourne as a result of moving around the last few years.

I have had lots of experience with children aged anywhere from 6 months old and I find spending time with children is something I have always enjoyed and feel passionate about.

As a result of coming from a large family I understand the importance of building trusting and meaningful relationships with children based on their individuality and interests! I have a long history in creative hobbies like drawing, sewing and other arts and crafts as well as various sporting interests like swimming and dance.

I have professional housekeeping experience and am very comfortable in the kitchen. I know that running a household is a lot of work, so any cooking, cleaning or running errands is something I am always happy to help out with.

Some of my previous roles include a part time nanny position that extended for 12 months (3 children) and an afterschool carer in which I assisted with homework and prepared dinner that extended for 2 years (2 children).

I have completed the Kids-Safe paediatric first aid and anaphylaxis course at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
