Meet Julia: A nanny and babysitter in Brighton, VIC

Hello! My name is Julia. I'm 29 years old and I live in Melbourne.

I have an Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Design. I'm currently studying a Masters of Art Curatorship.

I have always been a very creative person into art and design. My hobbies include learning French, playing piano and making pottery. I have been learning French and playing piano since 2020. I have been doing pottery since 2022.

I would describe myself as a fun, caring and thoughtful babysitter. I have experience babysitting/nannying for children between the ages of 4-12.

My first experience babysitting was in 2018 for an 8 year old boy who was an only child. I did that for 1.5 years.

I also have experience babysitting for 3 children in my area over 2018, 2019 and 2021. In the beginning they were 4, 8 and 10 years old.

With my babysitting experience, I have become really good at gentle parenting and also getting involved in the kids activities. I'm really good at creating enthusiasm and positivity for them. I like to create a fun, warm, and inviting space. I always make sure that the children are seen and heard while also at the same time asserting boundaries.

I believe I can be a very firm but fair babysitter while also being fun and enthusiastic. I think I can be really good at motivating kids and getting them into their activities and bringing positivity.

I have nanny experience in pick ups, drop offs, cooking, light housework, helping with homework, playing with the kids, showering/bathing and helping with their night routines.
