Meet Fiona: A nanny and babysitter in Forestville, NSW

Hi,

I am 31 years old. Currently completely my postgraduate studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I work at an independent boys high school 3 days a week in the special education department providing psychosocial and academic support to boys with intellectual disabilities.

I have over 12 years nannying experience. Over the years this has consisted of full time (live-in) role, part time and as required babysitting. Ranging from 0-12 years old. I also worked in a childhood centre for a few years in my early twenties.

My most recent nannying role was for a boy with level 3 autism.

I am pursuing a career in counselling, hoping to one day be a counsellor at a school or start private practice.

Until then I am looking for casual or part-time work outside of my hours at the school.
