Meet Ren: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Rosebery, NSW

Hi families,

My name's Ren and I'm a responsible and caring nanny with 6+ years of professional childcare experience.

I have several years of experience working as an educator within several national museums and cultural institutions, where I regularly worked with children of all ages, from caring for babies in our dedicated play space to teaching year twelve students. I’ve also worked extensively as a nanny and governess/tutor within private homes, both on a full time and casual basis, and have live-in Au Pair experience. I really enjoy thinking of ways to facilitate creative play, and enjoy learning from and spending time with kids!

I have several years of experience facilitating youth holiday camps and after school tutoring programs, so am very happy to help with homework, and can also supervise music practice for beginner-intermediate players.

In my previous nannying roles I have particularly enjoyed getting to know the children I have looked after, planning fun and educational activities such as museum trips and play-groups, and organising at-home activities like craft and baking. Having worked in many professional educational roles I’m very aware of the need for structure and security, and am happy to follow your child’s schedule and work around your family needs.

I'm currently working on my PhD, so have a very flexible schedule but am not looking for a full time position at this time. Working With Children Check, First Aid certificate, and references available on request.
