My name is Yara, and I’m a 22-year-old exchange student from Germany currently studying at Monash University.

I grew up with two younger sisters, so caring for little ones has always been a big part of my life. Back in Germany, I babysat a wonderful 5-year-old boy, and at 19, I spent six months volunteering at an orphanage in Namibia, where I cared for and taught young children. These experiences have given me patience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to looking after kids.
