Originally from Canada, my family and I are in Brisbane under my husband’s student visa (he is currently a med student at UQ). I’m a registered nurse, currently registered with AHPRA. While I am nearing the end of my maternity leave, I was hoping to continue working in an environment that would allow me to stay with my 11 month old daughter. I don’t currently have a WWCC, but my husband does and I am happy to obtain one as well. My mom has had a home daycare ever since I was a toddler - children have always been a huge part of my life!
