Meet Minna: A babysitter in Northcote, VIC

Hi families!

My name is Minna. I live in Northcote and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. I enjoy being in the outdoors, catching up with friends and being creative in my spare time. I'm a caring, warm, outgoing person who loves to engage with children.

I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for the past 5 years. I have looked after children as young as 6 months - early teen years on a weekly and casual basis. I have also worked as a swim teacher for the last 2 years, building relationships with babies, preschool and primary school aged children. I have worked as an assistant dance teacher for 3 & 4 year olds and am currently tutoring three primary school kids.

I have a few months left of my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care from Melbourne Polytechnic that I plan to go back to and finish in the future. Throughout this course I have gained plenty of experience working in childcare centres and in particular loved caring for babies and toddlers. I have gained lots of experience with sleep cycles, feeding, changing, settling and play. I have a valid First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificate, as well as a Working with Children's check. I am happy to provide references!
