Meet Calista: A babysitter in Fitzroy North, VIC

Hello, my name is Calista and I have a deep passion for care and for creating and inspiring positive and calm environments with children. I have a bright and engaging personality and am a very good communicator and fun to be around! I have been working as a support worker this past year so I am great at adapting my skills to the needs of each individual child and love getting creative with activities and to take the time to nurture and allow a child to develop in their unique way!

I am very creative in problem solving, fit and active with a very strong passion for the arts and creative education. I am very passionate about the importance of the arts and the impact it can make on people's lives, particularly children which is why I am a big advocate in creative and active play.

I love working with children, I have a firm but gentle demeanour and love to engage in active play and activities. I have assisted with children’s holiday programs from the age range 6 - 14 and have been babysitting various family friends children over the years and been a support worker this past year.

I am a very tidy person with a keen eye for details so I am happy to do light household work and small meals/snacks. I also have some flexibility with hours :)
