Meet Lola: A babysitter in Sandringham, VIC

Hi! My name is Lola. I’m 19 years old and a student at the ANU and split my time between there and my parents house in Sandringham.

I have worked ar Baker’s Delight Beaumaris for four years, where I have loved my conversations with our younger patrons about our elf on the shelf or our naughty and nice list this festive season!

I was also school captain at St Leonard’s College, where I regularly integrated with the younger year levels.

For example:

- I facilitated the years 5&6 Social action club through which I helped the kids articulate their ideas and work as a team to organise and promote events like bakesales.

- I frequently would practice reading or play games with students in years 1-4 during lunch.

- I organised an easter egg hunt for the preps.

During this time I also babysat for parents within the college community.
