Meet Bridget: A babysitter in New Farm, QLD

Hello, I’m Bridget! I’m 30 years old and have moved to Brisbane from Melbourne with my partner.

I work full time in marketing and am looking for any mid-week evening and weekend babysitting jobs.

I come from a loving family of 5 kids and have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I am extremely confident and comfortable with children of all ages, newborns right through to teenagers.

Whilst studying I use to be a full-time nanny, for various families over the years. To this day it is still one of my favourite jobs I’ve had. I’ve worked on many school holiday programs for children with special needs.

I’m reliable, mature, patient, loving and fair but fun person. I love kids and seeing their creativity flow!

I have 10 beautiful nieces and nephews back home in Melbourne, who I would always be the on-call babysitter for.

I’m more than happy to assist with anything such as:

- Cooking/preparing meals of parents’ choice (or getting creative myself)

- Cleaning, washing etc.

- Helping with homework

Anything to assist you and your family and of course, when it comes the kids. Providing a safe and nurturing environment, being creative and having fun, playing outdoors/being active, being a responsible carer, yet a friend to your child.

I understand that every family is different, and I will respect and adapt to your needs as a family.
