Meet Mariah: A nanny and babysitter in Eastern Heights, QLD

Greetings! My name is Mariah (preferred) and I am 22 years old. I have been babysitting for family and friends since I was in primary school and have now had about 2.5 years experience in the Child Care sector. Currently, I am finishing my studies at Tafe (including an eventual Diploma) so that I can lead my own room in the future!

My number one priority when looking after children is to make sure they feel heard and respected. Everything I do is in their best interest and the child and family get to decide what that looks like. I am simply here to further support their development and/or give them some much needed relaxing time after a big day!

Oh and as a bonus, I am a board gamer so older children are welcome to request and play board games with me. I own many different categories - some which require a personal puzzle to be completed, some that require cooperation, some that require competition an so on! I have found games like these are an amazing way to expand on children's cognitive, social and emotional development.
