Meet Fiona: A babysitter in Stanmore, NSW

Hi, I'm Fiona! I am 30 and I have 12+ years of experience working with children. I started off working in a primary school as a childcare assistant and went on to work in several primary and infant schools and OOSH programs. I worked as a private nanny for several families and have experience working closely with children aged newborn up to 15. I have also worked as a support worker for children and young people living with autism and utilising NDIS services.

Professionally, I've worked as a social worker for over 6 years now. I first worked for 4 years in adult mental health, providing 1:1 support and running community programs. In my recent role, I worked in the foster system, case managing children aged 4 months to 16 years. I now work as a youth caseworker and counsellor in the inner city.

I am looking for casual/evening work.

Due to my experience, my base rate begins at $45/hour however varies dependent on the amount of children and your children's needs; I am more than open to discuss and negotiate this with you! I am happy to help out with household tasks/chores during nap time hours. My other interests include cooking, baking, photography, painting and yoga.

I have current a WWCC, first aid + CPR, mental health first aid and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander mental health first aid. I also eligible for social work accreditation with the AASW.
