Meet Matilda: A nanny and babysitter in Rosebud, VIC

Hello! My name is Matilda, I am 33 years old. I am a mama of a beautiful 11 month old boy and am currently seeking part time work that helps me balance time with my young family, so I would ideally love after school hours (available 5 afternoons a week), but am also available 1-2 days during the day and weekends.

I have 10+ years experience working with kids in a variety of environments including;

-Educator in long day care centres with children (0-5years)

- Teaching English overseas (3-5 & 7-15year olds)

-Long term nanny (min 1 year) for some beautiful families

-Educator of environment, sustainability & marine care incursions and excursions to children kinder - 15 years

-yoga & pilates teacher in schools.

I have a working with children's check, certificate in applied first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis, my driver's license and own car.

I have my certificate 3 Early Childhood education, am currently studying toward my Early Childhood and Primary school teaching degree and I am a trained yoga and Pilates teacher.

My approach is to encourage an environment for mutual respect, growth, fun, exercise, natural inquiry and support children to learn and grow through nurturing their own interests and needs. I thoroughly enjoy being active and outdoors at any opportunity. I am an animal lover, creative, enjoy reading, writing, any art and craft DIY activities, cooking, anything hands on! I am competent and happy to carry out any house work and cleaning that comes along with the role.
