Meet Meya: A nanny and babysitter in Murrumbeena, VIC

Hi I’m Meya, I’m a 27 year old working holiday visa holder from Finland. I recently moved here to Melbourne with my boyfriend. I have experience in Childcare back in Finland and wish to continue working alongside children as I find it to be some of the most rewarding work.

During my time in childcare I was responsible for supervising groups of up to 10 children across indoor and outdoor environments. I’m used to following safeguard protocols to ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times. I also prided myself on being able to forge strong relationships with the parents of the children I worked with through effective and personalised communication.
