Meet Tayme: A babysitter in Kensington, NSW

Hi lovely families! My name is Tayme (pronounced 'tame') and I am looking to help out with casual babysitting and/or semi-regular babysitting.

I am currently an Assistant Manager of an Early Childhood Service and as such have an educational background when it comes to caring for children. I am passionate about looking after your little ones, whilst also engaging them in fun activities that will keep them entertained and allow them to gain new skills and work on their milestones.

Examples;

- Sign language (Auslan) - teaching them words such as; eat, drink, more, finished, stop, baby, etc.

- Toilet training and transitioning from nappies

- Assisting with numeracy and literacy (learning numbers/letters/colours/shapes and basic mathematical concepts)

- A focus on sensory play and water play

- I also have a love for imaginary play with children such as; singing, dancing, drama, and storytelling

- Passionate in arts and crafts and allowing children to express their creativity

- Outdoor play and supporting children to engage in risky play (such as climbing tree's and playing in the mud)

- Many other areas of knowledge and expertise :-)
