Meet Youstina: A nanny and babysitter in Prahran, VIC

Hi, my name is Youstina “Tina”, I’m a registered nurse by profession with 8 years experience over this time I have worked across hospitals, aged care and private practice through which I have cared for all ages from newborns to elderly. I have a particular love and interest for children asides from in nursing I did volunteer work on childcare centres, worked in outside school hours care and also teach Sunday school at my church and assist with kids activity days and vacation program as part of this. I have also got experience in babysitting for various primary school aged children over the years with dedication to creating a fun environment and positive experience for both children and their families through my bubbly but also gentle nature and strive for good communication. I understand the importance for routine/ schedule for newborns and also how children to learn through play and other various activities suitable for respective ages: art/crafts, baking, board games, the outdoors whether at the gardens/ beach or a visit to local library. With my nursing experience I am aware of developmental milestones and also the special needs and consideration of children with autism and/or ADHD etc. I have CPR/ first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training. Currently looking forward to take a break from nursing and explore my interest for children through babysitting as I continue to strive to have a positive difference to children forstering more valuable smiles.
