Meet Stephanie: A nanny and babysitter in Doubleview, WA

Hi! My name is Stephanie (Steph) and I'm 30 from Bath, UK. I have been travelling and living in Australia for two and a half years and love it here. I'm an active person, who loves being outdoors and exploring new places.

Previous to my travels at home I worked in childcare for 3 years, looking after babies and children from ages 8 months- 4 years old, predominantly with preschoolers aged 3-4 helping them prepare for school, along with planning fun, yet educational activities and exciting trips out into the community. I additionally would often babysit in the evenings for some of the children I looked after at the nursery.

Throughout my time in Australia, I have had various nanny roles- from assisting a family from the UK on holiday in Sydney for 3 weeks and house/ babysitting for my boss’ family up in Darwin whilst they were away, looking after their 3 kids ages 10, 12 and 14.

At the start of 2024, I worked full time for one family, looking after their children aged 5 and 14, assisting with household duties. The job came to an end, which is when I got a casual job in a cafe in Bondi and alongside worked for a family, looking after their two girls aged 5 and 7, where I picked them up from school, took them to after school activities and helped with dinner and bedtime.

I am a very upbeat, positive person and absolutely love working with children. I am very used to caring for multiple children at once and believe I have a very patient, fun and caring approach to all. I have plenty of experience working and looking after children who have additional and special educational needs.

I’ve just relocated to Perth for a few months before my onward travel home to the UK and looking for some casual babysitting/ nannying work.
