Meet Dominique: A nanny and babysitter in Abbotsford, VIC

Hi Families! I’m Dominique ! Currently I am 21 years old, only having moved to Melbourne around 3 months ago from the country town of Rochester. I am currently working part time at the Royal Children’s hospital which I absolutely love, it's very rewarding! I would love to eventually return to uni and pursue a carer in paediatrics allied health as I feel like I have grown to love that environment and have an impact on the care they receive.

I love being able to provide care for children, as they are such resilient little beings as well as providing support for the families and carers present. This I feel highlights my love for caring for children, with around 4 years of babysitting experience at present for children as young as 6 months old up to teenagers.

One of the past families I used to care for on a regular basis was a family of 2 children, ages 5 and 3, I feel I was able to grow a beautiful bond with the kids and loved how excited they were to see me on the days i would babysit them! I would entertain them through various activities, including inside and outside games, going to the park, as well as some quiet time as it is sometimes needed! I have experience with children as young as 6 months old, and have juggled up to 3 kids at time!
