Hey everyone I’m an international student from China, just arrived in Perth. I’m looking for babysitting jobs.
I’ll study for a Master of Social Work at UWA this year, so I’ve already received all the necessary documents, such as the police check and vaccines. I have also signed up for the first aid and CPR course and will apply for WWCC as soon as possible.
I also graduated with a Master’s degree in gender and developmental studies from Uni Melbourne, and have worked in gender-related fields during the last four years in China, I advocated for gender equality, taught sex-ed courses for kids and their families, and initiated workshops on crochet, woodcut, painting and writing to promote gender equality. Additionally, I worked in Tibet for one year as a volunteer teacher teaching students aged 4-12, I played with them and taught them Mandarin, math and English. I like to be with kids, learn from them, and grow up with them.
I like reading, writing, drawing, bouldering, bird-watching, and all kinds of DIY projects. So don't worry—I can always come up with ideas for playing with kids—at least, I'll try my best to do so! I love animals and once worked for a stray cat rescue team for 1 year. I also adopted 4 cats when I was in China and they are now living with my parents.
I live in West Perth 6005 and don’t have a car right now, so I prefer to work in areas where the commute is less than one hour. I have a Chinese driver’s license, and I’ll start practicing driving soon, I hope this helps in the future.
