Hi, my name is Tara Sgarioto, and I’m a passionate and experienced early childhood educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have over six years of experience working in childcare and kindergarten settings, where I’ve loved creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. I hold a current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and Anaphylaxis certification, ensuring I can provide a safe and supportive environment. I also have my driver’s license and my own vehicle, making it easy for me to commute or assist with transport if needed. Additionally, I have attended multiple training seminars focused on early childhood development and education, allowing me to stay up to date with best practices and provide high-quality care. I currently live in The Basin and work as a registration clerk at Berwick Mazda from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but I’m eager to get back to working with kids, as it’s what I truly love. I’m available all day on Fridays and after school on weekday evenings, so I have flexibility to support a family looking for a caring and reliable nanny.

I'm 31 years old with over a decade of casual and industry experience. I'm looking for casual or permanent part-time positions. I encourage healthy eating and physical play as a good foundation for happy kids, and am a strong advocate for free range outdoor exploration. I have my full drivers license, an Employment Working With Children Check, and first aid qualifications including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and I currently work permanent part-time Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in an early learning centre. My rates are $30 an hour, with overnight sitting $35. Caring for toddlers is the bulk of my experience, but I have looked after children of all ages, including newborns and teens. Please note that whilst I have previously done school drop-off/pick-up only jobs, they're not my preference. I enjoy actively engaging with children and planning engaging experiences. I have experience working with large families (5 or more children), children with autism, and chronically ill children. I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
