I have been working as a professional nanny for 25 years including six years in the United States. I decided to make nannying my career when working overseas as I found it both rewarding and enjoyable. I love working with children because they are unpredictable, fun and genuine. Everyday as a nanny is unique and it is my personal responsibility to make it as fun, informative and creative as possible. I have had a diverse range of jobs including sole-charge, working with a mum who is "in and out" and caring for children for up to four weeks whilst their parents have been holidaying or travelling for work. I have cared for families with 2 - 6 children with the ages ranging from newborns - 16 year. I believe the key to being a good nanny is providing a happy and safe environment for the children and having an open and honest relationship with the parents.

Looking for: Part-time

Hi families! 😊 I’m an experienced, non smoking, energetic and nurturing nanny with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for children from newborns through to school age. I have recently stepped away from corporate life and looking at part time ongoing nannying to balance my family life. As a mum to a beautiful 6-year-old, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your child. I bring a calm, capable and loving presence into every home, while also keeping things fun, engaging and structured. I’ve worked with many families across Australia and overseas, including caring for multiples (even two sets of twins!), so I’m very confident managing busy households and different routines. I especially love working with babies and toddlers—supporting their development, creating healthy routines, preparing nutritious meals, and making each day full of play, learning and connection. I also love creating fun, age-appropriate sensory activities that support children’s development, curiosity and creativity—whether it’s messy play, fine motor activities or calm, focused play. I would describe myself as bubbly, hands-on, organised and proactive. I naturally take initiative, stay one step ahead, and aim to make life easier for parents wherever I can. I’m also very confident handling challenging situations, with experience managing emergencies including anaphylaxis, infant choking and other high-pressure moments—always staying calm and acting quickly. Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do. I take pride in helping little humans feel safe, happy and supported as they grow. I enjoy house management as well if you require that aspect also. Happy to help fold laundry, prep family dinners etc where needed. Pretty easy going and capable to jump into different roles. I’d love to connect and see if I’m the right fit for your family 💛 Kym

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am looking for casual and part time babysitting in the inner north during my gap year upon completing high school! I currently work part times at a Coles on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings, as well as on Sunday afternoons. Next year, Im studying a bachelor of science at RMIT and plan on continuing to provide my babysitting services throughout my studies as well😊 Some things about me include my love for animals and my passion to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. As someone who has cats, a dog, and a blue tongue lizard of my own, I am very devoted to the welfare and nurture of animals. I am very crafty and enjoy scrapbooking and painting, as well as reading, music, and bike-riding. I have been assisting in childcare and supervision since about the age of 8, as my mother has been a full time nanny for over 25 years. What started with going to her nanny homes after school to play with the kids, turned into her referring me for babysitting gigs when she was unavailable. I deeply enjoy being a friend to the kids I babysit and understanding their routines so that I can ensure that they see me as not only a helping hand, but as well as a fun role model! A common babysitting job that I am most sought after are evening babysitting for kindergarten and primary school kids, which I usually do 2-3 times a fortnight, depending on when I am needed by my known families. Additionally, I regularly babysit for my neighbours 3.5 year old, and will also look after her 7 month old when she returns to work. Once she does return, this role involves caring for her infant while her other child is at kindergarten, then picking her child up from kindergarten to care for both in the afternoons. I will be doing this on Mondays and Saturdays till the late afternoon from the beginning of June.
