Hello! I am a grandmother to two young children 7-year-old girl and and 2.5 year-old boy. I am naturally very nurturing, warm and approachable and I genuinely enjoy connecting with little babies and toddlers which I have first hand experience with my own children and grandchildren. When I’m around little ones, I love creating a welcoming, safe and fun space for them, a space where they can feel comfortable to explore, express their little personalities and build confidence. I am energetic and enjoy playing ball games :) I am open to caring for both babies and toddlers. My form of care consists of interacting with the child with age appropriate activities in the home, allowing for self play and outdoor activities dependent on weather. During nap times happy to carry out some ironing (who doesn't need ironing done!!!) meal prep/cooking and general tidy up. If child attends daycare for a few hours I'm happy to drop off and pick up whilst returning home for cooking/ironing and any other home duties. I look after my grandson on Tuesdays but am available all other weekdays and open to some weekends as needed and if availability allows. I have completed an Early Childhood Development course with Steiner Education and currently enrolled with their Primary 1-7 Foundation course.
