About Me
My name is Martina, and I'm an Italian nanny with over 8 years of experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns as young as 2 weeks old.
I am fully certified, have a spotless driver's licence with 0 demerit points, and own a car equipped with two child seats - one for babies and one for older kids. I am currently completing my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with plans to continue onto a Diploma.
In addition to childcare, I have 3 years of experience as a house manager. This role included ensuring the home was always a comfortable and welcoming environment for the family. My responsibilities ranged from maintaining the general tidiness of the home, managing laundry, grocery shopping, meal prepping with personalised menus, and running personal errands to taking care of family pets. I went above and beyond to create a space where coming home felt stress-free and relaxing.
I have 4 glowing references from families in Sydney, each spanning over a year of trusted care, as well as additional references from other cities and countries, reflecting my extensive international experience.
What I Offer
I believe in treating children as equals, building trust and connection by meeting them on their level. I nurture emotional skills by encouraging children's curiosity, helping them explore different perspectives, and fostering kindness in their interactions with others. My approach is focused on creating an environment where children feel safe to express themselves and grow emotionally.
I love baking with children, improvising games out of everyday items, and spending time outdoors - including swimming, even with babies. I also have experience tutoring children in school subjects, making me a well-rounded caregiver who can support both fun and education.
With my combined skills in childcare and household management, I aim to create a supportive and stress-free environment for families to thrive in.
If you're looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny who can provide comprehensive support for your family, I'd love to hear from you!
Warm regards,
Martina
