Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Strathmore VIC

I have a beautiful 15 month old boy who we will need some help with as we run our family business. We currently have two beautiful Nanny’s that have been with us since Noah was 10 weeks old. However, unfortunately they have placements which means that we will need someone to come in and help out during these times.

I would also love to travel a bit later in the year and would like someone that could come along and help out with Noah.

Noah is full of energy and loves to play outside. He will keep you on your toes as he is walking/ running and is very very active. He loves music and our golden retriever Rosie. He is a very happy little man and is generally pretty easy to please.

As I work full time we will also need some help around the house while he naps/ plays independently with some light house chores such as laundry and dishes. We love our current nanny’s and the initiative they take to keep our house in order so that when we come home there isn’t too much for us to do at night.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. Mainly looking for Sundays 3pm-8pm and school holidays with the possibility of increasing to a week night in the future as well. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment of at last 1 year and the role requires regular weekly work with the child to be able to work with him on the school holidays so I am not able to accept applicants who are looking for temporary or solely school holiday work. Looking for sitter for 1-2 days/week from now until October. We have a 15 month old daughter and a 5 year old daughter who is in Prep. We are looking for someone with experience caring for small children, can provide references, and is a fun loving, warm and nurturing carer.
