My name is Natalia and I have an 8 year old son. He has autism but is high functioning. He is a beautiful sweet natured little boy and is in grade 2. He loves trains, Harry Potter and building lego. My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. I am looking for a babysitter to care for my 1 year old boy (born Jan 2024) 1 day a week (either Mon, Tues or Wed) in Elwood while my husband and I are at work. He goes to childcare Thurs/Fri each week. We’d also be looking for some additional casual babysitting hours on top of the regular weekday eg 4-6 hours once a fortnight on a weekend or evening.
Our son is a smiley, inquisitive and adventurous child. He loves the outdoors and being active. He has recently started walking and loves going on trips to loval playgrounds.

Hi, we're a young couple with a 6 month old who will be starting Daycare in May. We both work and have to leave for our jobs early in the morning. Looking for someone just for an hour in the mornings to look after our baby and walk her yo daycare which is just down the road ~ 8 min walk. Daycare starts at 7.30am. So will need help from 6.30-7.30am. 1 hr x 3 days a week. Prefer that she is walked to daycare and not driven.

But for the right candidate there will Be a option for more babysittign afterschool etc. As i mentioned I have 3 boys (8,6yoand 2.5yo) the boys have sports on Thursday and friday nigths and also on the weekend, so i will often need you to come with me to help with my toddler or help drive the older two around . My husband works quite long hours and I am home full time the kids. I often need a bit of help throughout the week as he travels a lot!
So mostly looking for someone to come and play with them and keep them entertained - Eg going to the park, going for walks, playing at home, occasional cooking (kids meals), art and craft etc! The eldest two go to kindy on Tuesday Thursdays and Fridays so if available on either of those days it would just be looking after the youngest so I can duck out do some food shopping / errands etc.

Our girls are in Grades 4, 8 and 10 and are as such are quite self sufficient therefore the main activities would be:
- Pick ups/drop offs from school and after school activities (Mon - Thurs)
- Assisting with homework if needed (Grade 4)
- Preparing dinners each night
- Light cleaning/tidying including hanging out and folding washing, emptying the dishwasher etc
- Additional tasks as required to make the household run smoothly e.g. supermarket shop etc
- Organizing activities and actively engaging with the kids during the holidays
The days/hours each week wont vary often from week to week and will look similar to this:
Monday - 2:30pm - 7pm
Tuesday - 2:30pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday - 2:30 - 7:00pm
Thursday - 2:30pm - 8:30pm
There may also be additional hours during school holidays and maybe the occasion night out if you are looking to earn a little more.
Please note that we would ideally be looking for someone local within 5km of Brighton East who has their own car. An additional payment will be added each week to help cover petrol costs (although 95% of all activities are around Bayside)

Seeking babysitter for weeknight evenings, if you can also do a few Saturday mornings that'd be wonderful but not essential. Somewhat flexible on days/hours.
Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.
We live 10min walk from Gardenvale station.
