Our family is looking for a warm, energetic and experienced babysitter to help with care of our 2 children aged 3 and 6. The younger attends daycare/kinder and the elder is in year 1 at school. We would like someone to help with afternoon pick-ups/after school care plus evening routine Mondays and Thursdays. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.
