Seeking babysitter for weeknight evenings, if you can also do a few Saturday mornings that'd be wonderful but not essential. Somewhat flexible on days/hours.
Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.

About the job:
Minimum 2 afternoons per week, 3.15pm - 5.30pm which includes pick up from school, dinner and bedtime routine.
Some weeks may be 3 days or may be later than 5.30pm. I will always provide notice the week before of days/hours required and will work with you to be flexible to your needs as well, whether that be studying, holidays or other jobs you might have.
If for whatever reason I need to cancel the day of, I'll still pay you for 2 hours to cover the late cancellation.
It would be great if you can also help out occasionally on school holidays or weekends, but it's not a deal breaker.

Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. Looking for a caring nanny for our 10 month old baby girl from April (location: Bulleen).

After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, one 'bigger job' per week (like clean windows or change sheets or wipe out fridge), perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands. The boys have their own chores to help contribute, and need an adult nearby to ask, should they need help with homework but otherwise are pretty self-sufficient.
