We have a 3.5-year-old girl, a 19-month-old boy, and we’re expecting a baby girl in October 2025. We're after someone reliable and experienced with babies and toddlers, as the role will mostly involve caring for our baby and 19-month-old (our eldest attends kinder).
You’ll need to be available Mondays and Fridays in 2025, and then Mondays, Wednesdays (half day), and Fridays in 2026. Hours are 7am to 3pm, with Wednesdays in 2026 likely being a half day (e.g. 7am–1pm) just with our baby (our toddler will be with grandparents).
In early 2026, care will focus on our baby—including bringing her to my nearby workplace for feeds when needed.
We’re based in a 4-bedroom home with a big backyard, close to parks, walking tracks, shops, and the local library. You’re welcome to drive our car (with car seats), and we’ll treat you like part of our family.

My wife and I are a busy professional couple living in Heidelberg looking for a mature-minded responsible nanny to join our family. The nanny will help with weekday morning preparations and school drop-offs (8-9am) and then returning for afternoon school pickups and light duties at home.
We have a 5yo daughter (foundation year) and 10yo son who attends the local primary school (5 min walk, 2min drive). Duties to involve: morning - help prepare both kids for day at school, prepare simple breakfast and drop-offs. The job would involve getting the kids ready for school and day care, dropping the kids off in the car, and then coming back to do light cleaning/housekeeping for 2hrs on the Weds. On the Tuesday it would involve looking after our 2 yr. old for the whole day, then picking up the older kids from school at 3:30, keeping the house tidy for the day and some minor jobs where possible.
We have a professional cleaner, however looking for someone to tidy the kitchen, change bedsheets, wash and fold laundry, pack school lunches, pack away toys, sweep the floor, etc. Specifically, someone that has initiative to tidy and organise the house as needed.

I am looking for an educator to look after the kids in the mornings as I'm an Electrician and required on site usually between 6 and 7am. Your start time would be either 5am or 6am.
You would make the lunches, get them up and then take my youngest to school, which is less than a 10 minute drive. The older girl gets herself to school as she is in year 7.
They are good at getting themselves showered and ready for school and making their own breakfasts.
You would have the option of weekend and week night shifts occasionally when I need to work overtime.

About the job:
Minimum 2 afternoons per week, 3.15pm - 5.30pm which includes pick up from school, dinner and bedtime routine.
Some weeks may be 3 days or may be later than 5.30pm. I will always provide notice the week before of days/hours required and will work with you to be flexible to your needs as well, whether that be studying, holidays or other jobs you might have.
If for whatever reason I need to cancel the day of, I'll still pay you for 2 hours to cover the late cancellation.
It would be great if you can also help out occasionally on school holidays or weekends, but it's not a deal breaker.
