Our family are looking for a caring, responsible and fun person to care for our two year old and 5 year old on a casual basis. We are hoping to find the right person for our family so that we can have someone reliable who can also provide night time babysitting and possibly during the day during school holidays. We also have two small dogs.

About us:
I am a single mum who works full time. I'm pretty laid back and flexible, my focus is on finding someone who can connect with my son and have fun with him while I am working.
My son is 6 years old and full of beans. He loves dinosaurs, arts and crafts, Pokemon, Avatar, science experiments, drawing and and making up imaginary games to play.

About you:
You're fun, energetic and keen to get involved in games and activities with kids. You're a good communicator, honest and not too serious.
Ideally you have a car, a working with children's check and first aid certificate (or willing to get a WWCC and First Aid Cert in the first month).

About the job:
Minimum 2 afternoons per week, 3.15pm - 5.30pm which includes pick up from school, dinner and bedtime routine.
Some weeks may be 3 days or may be later than 5.30pm. I will always provide notice the week before of days/hours required and will work with you to be flexible to your needs as well, whether that be studying, holidays or other jobs you might have.
If for whatever reason I need to cancel the day of, I'll still pay you for 2 hours to cover the late cancellation.
It would be great if you can also help out occasionally on school holidays or weekends, but it's not a deal breaker.

**Overview:**

✝️We are looking for a carer who will be supportive of a Seventh-day Adventist Christian family willing to help with homework, engage the children in cooking/baking activities, light housework, and who will facilitate a fun and engaging environment while supporting healthy character building.
