Twins currently do 2x 2hour naps during the day, so basic household jobs relating to the kids (washing, tidying toys, meal prep) can be done during this time.
We also have an almost three year old girl, however she will be in daycare (there may be the odd occassion when she is also home to be looked after on a Friday morning).
We have a Groodle who loves attention so someone comfortable with dogs is essential!

We are looking for a nanny for one day a week from around the 1st of April, for our son Zayn. He is currently 10.5 months old and will be close to one by then.
We are first time parents that are navigating our return to work and planning on sending our son to day care for three days a week, but looking to balance that out with a day at home with a Nanny (either Monday or Thursday). My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities.
