My family relocated to Melbourne from San Francisco a few months ago. We live in Kew with our 3 children aged 6, 4 and nearly 2; our daughter goes to Camberwell Primary while the other two do a mix of kinder (Hawthorn East) + childcare (Kew).
I am looking for someone who could help weekday afternoons from around 2-6pm - helping with school pick-ups and drop-offs to after-school activities for the oldest 2. To start, we'd need help 2 days a week - Tue / Wed. Starting in Jan 2025, we'd look to increase to 4 days a week - Mon-Wed + Fri.
During school holidays or weeks when one parent is traveling for work, we may also ask for more hours - as possible.
Ideally, we would love to find someone who is:

Looking for a carer for my 15 month old son on a Thursday and Friday while my husband and I are at work. He is a super sweet smiley baby, very active and quite a big boy! we also have a British bulldog who is in the house. I'm looking for a live-in au pair or part-time nanny to help me with meal prep, dishes, laundry and my kids (ages 2 and 5). We are a family of 4 living in a spacious apartment in Kew. For au-pair position, you will get your own room, bathroom and meals included.
We are looking for a nanny to pick up our youngest child from Scotch College (aged 9). We live a few minutes' walk away from school. And to supervise him and his older brother (13 years) while they do their homework and music practice.
It's a bit complicated in that we need this daily (roughly) when I am in the UK 3-4 times a year (first trip is Nov 15th until early Dec). Thereafter we need help only on Monday and Tuesdays when I am at work. I have not yet started work because of paperwork etc. So I cannot give an exact date - but maybe something to discuss?

The boys don't need looking after per se, but the youngest needs supervision with road crossing and both need encouragement not to go on screen!

This is a permanent position, salary of AUD 42.00 per hour (including tax and superannuation) paid as an employee working more than 30 hours per week. We need help for four afternoons a week (Tuesday to Friday).
Proposed hours are 1.30pm to 6.30pm (we are flexible with start time, depending on your availability) to allow time to prepare the evening meal (happy for you to eat with the kids or take some home) and carry out some light household duties prior to the after-school pick-up. (The school is a short stroll away).
Although the primary focus is to care for and stimulate our kids, duties will include food preparation (afternoon tea, cooking a simple dinner for the family), supervision of homework, showers and some light housework (e.g., folding laundry, general tidying and a small amount of vacuuming).
