Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Point Lookout QLD

We’re looking for a lovely nanny/mother’s helper to join our family and help out with our two little ones — a 9-month-old and a 3.5-year-old.

We’re based in Chandler and are looking for someone for around 8–10 hours a week, ideally split across 2 days. We’re pretty flexible with days and times as long as they fall between 9am–5pm.

The role would be a mix of helping with the kids, playing with them and keeping them entertained, and generally being an extra pair of hands around the house when needed.

We’d also love to find someone who might be open to occasional weekend babysitting if it suits, but this isn’t essential.

Pay is $35 an hour.

You’ll need to have a current Working with Children Check/Blue Card, be reliable, confident with babies and young children, and ideally have some previous nannying or childcare experience.

We’re looking for a warm, reliable and caring babysitter to help care for our beautiful 5-month-old daughter, Zara. Initially, we’re looking for 2–4 hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with flexibility around times. Much of this time I’ll be working from my home office, although I’d also like the option to pop out for errands once we’re all comfortable. Zara is currently breastfed. We also have upcoming day trips to Sydney and Melbourne, so we’d love to find someone who can build a relationship with Zara beforehand and care for her while we’re away if my mum is unavailable. We’re hoping to find someone who feels like an extension of our family.

My husband and I are looking for a caring and reliable nanny to look after our 2-year-old on a regular basis, with additional care for our 6-year-old during school holidays.

Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 8:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Responsibilities for the 2 year old:
- Feeding, changing, and putting down for a nap
- Taking him to his playgroup on Wednesdays (located nearby)
- Coming up with age-appropriate activities and ideas to keep him engaged and happy
- Supporting his development through play and daily routines

Light household tasks (if time permits):
- Folding clothes and other small tasks around the house

General:
- A playroom full of toys is available
- The nanny's primary responsibility is to keep our 2-year-old happy, entertained, and supported in his development
