Hi, I am a mature, experienced, active, healthy, happy and passionate carer. I have been looking after children since I was 13. Have two grown up children and 3 grandchildren. Currently working as a Nanny/ PA . I cook, tidy, sort, organize, cater and personally assist with errands for various families already. Now I am ready to fill my available times in my working week.. I have experience with newborns and I can help new mother's also. I can do some casual work in my spare time, or have permanent work, if it fits my weekly workload. I have kept in touch long term with some of the families who I’ve worked for in the past. I have experience from newborn to teenagers. Lately I have been working with babies a lot... I speak, read and write fluent English and Hungarian,( I can understand a very minimal German .)-- also teach and participate in Hungarian folk-dance two evenings a week. Dancing is a big part of my life, it is a great way to keep fit!! Also love gardening, and spending time on the beach...or riding my bike.. I am a MOTIVATED, EXPERIENCED, CARING, RESPONSIBLE, PATIENT, and RELIABLE person with common sense, and good organizing skills. I have worked with a family with multiple children, and have taken sole care of 3 children under 3 years old, including twins and premature newborns. I love children, and they love me too :-) Would prefer daytime work (available from early morning), but I will be happy to do casual hrs as well. You will be surprised what can be achieved in a few hrs in the morning! I can be very flexible for the right family, as all my references will tell you. Family pets are no problem. I have checkable (GREAT) references for you. Looking forward to hearing from you. ****Thank you, and have a great day :). Maria H

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am originally from the UK, and I have been in Australia for over a year. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work in such a beautiful country. My background is in early years, and I have been working with children since 2016 in various capacities. I am a bubbly, empathetic, caring individual, and I have a nurturing, enthusiastic approach to working with children. I like to create a positive, and calming environment for children to learn and grow within. I have worked as a teaching assistant with a child with additional needs, this gave me a lot of experience with adaptability and emphasised the need for a flexible approach to learning. I have been an au pair for three different families, working with children aged 6 months, up to 4 years old. I have cared for multiple children at one time, including caring for twins. I believe understanding the child’s routine within the home is a crucial part of helping families with their day to day lives. As I have volunteered for a family based charity, I understand how important it can be to have people to support families, especially in the early years. I have a wide range of skills, and I am eager to put them into practice. I have a strong work ethic, kindness, patience, and a strong passion for working with children. I am currently working as a barista part time, but i am looking for something more permanent within nannying. References available upon request.

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m an art teacher — friendly, creative, and pretty handy in the kitchen, especially when it comes to gluten-free cooking 😉 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Plastic Arts, and I worked as an art teacher for four years in Chile, mainly with high school students. I’ve also had experience with younger children aged 8–10, as well as babies from 12 to 24 months. After eight years living here, I’m proud to call Australia home. For the past two years, I’ve also worked as a Crèche Manager at BUMP Malvern, where I’ve been responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for little ones while supporting their early development through play. I love creating fun and dynamic activities around painting, sculpting, and drawing 🎨 After finishing university, I also trained as a yoga teacher for a year, which allows me to bring movement, mindfulness, and creativity together — nurturing the body, mind, and soul 💚 I’d describe myself as a true kid-lover — I believe children are the purest expression of honesty and love. They’re naturally creative, and when you focus on their strengths, they explore the world in such beautiful and simple ways. I’m passionate about a healthy lifestyle, animals, and long evening walks in the park — or curling up with a good book 📚🐾

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! I moved to Australia over thirteen years ago from Canada to work as an au pair. I have over twenty years of experience caring for children from as young as newborns to children older in age. I completed the Babysitter’s course at the age of twelve and my many years of childcare experience began at a young age by caring for family friends children as well as my brother and sister who are twelve and ten years younger than me. I have worked as an au pair and nanny over my time here in Australia, in both Victoria and in Western Australia. I have also been qualified as a family and children’s yoga teacher which I am very passionate about. I absolutely love working with children, being a supportive person in their life and being someone to help in teaching them meaningful practices like mindfulness. I love cooking and am someone that cleans up as I go. I am able to take care of the children while ensuring household tasks are also taken care of. First Aid is consistently maintained with my last certification being granted on 07/01/2026. WWCC: 18/09/2030.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey families, My name is Marnie, and I'm 34, I have over 19 years of experience in teaching, childcare and nannying and find these roles both professionally rewarding as well as consistent with my personal values. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Education (Primary), Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and a Certificate 3 in Children's Services. Over the past four years, I have been a classroom teacher at a primary school in Brighton East. My role as a teacher has encompassed various aspects of children’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Being a teacher is incredibly rewarding. Not only do you see students’ growth and progress academically, but you can build connections, make a meaningful difference and leave a long-lasting impact on these students' lives. I have a deep understanding of child development, learning styles, and age-appropriate activities. This knowledge allowed me to create engaging and educational experiences for children in my care. I have experience in managing various classrooms and working with diverse groups of students honing my ability to handle different behaviours and adapt to individual needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children I care for. But there is one thing I truly miss, caring for children in their home. Being that person in a household who is spreading kindness, care, and support. Before becoming a primary school teacher, I was a nanny. I have worked for several families within Australia and internationally (USA and Canada). My responsibilities included caring for newborn twins, and older children, following routines (including sleep patterns, feeding, and bathing), assisting with household cleaning, driving children to and from after-school activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining close communication with parents. Whilst I was studying for my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, where I was successful in gaining a scholarship through Swinburne University of Technology, to go to Vietnam. During this visit, I was volunteering in Hanoi, teaching English to prep-aged children. It was a fantastic experience and extended my childcare experience, as well as providing learning experiences in another culture, and participating in their usual day-to-day life activities. Prior to this experience, I was a nanny in America. This position involved living-in with a family in New Jersey, USA where I cared for their two children (girls now aged 4 and 8). Living full-time in the family house meant that it was important that my approach and behaviours aligned with the rules and principles of the family. I've also taken on additional roles working with children, such as a Ski Instructor at Mt Buller Ski Resort and an Assistant Educator at Explorer’s Early Learning Centre. These positions showcase my proficiency and professionalism in the field. I have a mature, responsible, and professional way of caring for children and I pride myself on creating a positive, happy environment in which children can thrive. As I'm a primary school teacher, I would not be able to start exactly at 3:30 pm, as that's when our school day ends. However, depending on where you're located, I could get there by 3:45-4:00 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We have meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I wouldn't be able to start until 5:00 pm.
