Hello! My name is Danielle, and I am a 31-year-old originally from the United States. I have worked with children for 10+ years including as babysitter/nanny and tutor for children Ages 0-13 in the USA and Australia, youth activities director onboard a cruise ship, child care attendant for clients at several yoga studio locations in San Francisco, CA, USA, and head/residential counselor at Stanford University for students Ages 14-18. I have volunteered as Youth Crisis Line Counselor (for youth and young adults aged 12-24) in California, USA and have a BA in Psychology (Minor in Human Development), Honours degree in Professional Psychology and currently in my second/final year of my Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) for which I have undergone placement in a clinic working with individuals aged 5-37. Prior to studying psychology, I studied Vocal Performance at the tertiary level and worked as a vocalist onboard a cruise line for six years. I am kind, patient, empathetic, optimistic and responsible, and I have a passion for spending time with and understanding children and adolescents. I understand the importance of creating and maintaining a balanced routine in children and am happy to work with you to ensure that your children are receiving the best care possible. I generally take a child-led approach but can also take the lead with various activities in my back pocket. I am fully vaccinated and a licensed driver in the USA and Australia.
