Hi families!
My name is Crystal, and I’m a second year university student at Deakin University, studying the Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I plan to use this degree as a pathway into Medicine so that I can become a Child Psychiatrist.
I'm looking for a nannying role for while I’m on my university break and for when I start the uni semester again (in early March).
I have childcare experience through volunteering at a Church in the Children’s room for approx. 2 years. I've taken care of children of various ages (18 months - 12 years) and I've helped with snack preparation, cleaning duties, as well as have organised/been involved in fun activities (including crafts, face painting, etc.).
I will also begin volunteering at a local Church in the Children’s room in February this year.
Additionally, I have taken care of my 6-month old nephew while my older sister and her husband have worked. I’d provide care from 9:00am to 4:00pm when needed during the week. My day involved walks to the park, feeding solids & offering bottles, and playing around baby’s sleep schedule. My sister is also a well-loved nanny for 9+ years, and I take all of her tips and tricks of the trade on-board, and am very appreciative of it.
With my calm and nurturing nature, I'm confident in creating a safe, loving, and enjoyable environment for the children in my care. I believe I am very mature with a positive attitude and am both enthusiastic and engaging. I consider myself super organised and am happy to help with light housekeeping tasks related to the children (when not caring for / entertaining the children).
I have a First Aid Certificate, WWCC, Police Check, my driver’s licence (red P’s) and my own car.
If you think I would be a good fit for your family, please reach out as I'd love to hear from you!
Many thanks,
Crystal
